Between 2002 and 2006 I was involved with the Longrun project, a computer recycling initiative with ambitious goals.

In 2008 I submitted an entry to the Google 10^100 initiative, calling for ideas that would help improve the lives of people around the world, some of which Google would fund. I called it "Gleanage, resources formerly known as garbage."

While working for Ashland County I wrote a successful grant to fund a version of Longrun for the Criminal Justice Council of the county.

While at Red Cliff I handled disposal of Tribal equipment.
